For those of you who couldn’t tell from the username, I’m trans. I know — shocking, isn’t it? When I was born they slapped a big old F on my birth certificate, which was about as wrong as they could get. I consider myself to be a transmasculine genderfluid person, which is less complicated than it sounds. Basically, on any given day I’m either a guy or a genderless mess of a human being, but I’m always leaning on the masculine side of life.

Okay so maybe it is as complicated as it sounds, but that’s what this blog is going to be for. It’s my way of explaining to the world what it’s like to be… well, me. There’s a lot of misinformation out there about trans people and I’m here to combat it. This will be a guide to the transmasculine side of being trans: name changing, hormones, navigating men’s sizes when your butt is waaaaay too big for that waist size. It’ll also (hopefully) be a good guide to being an ally, and how to not accidentally be an asshole to the trans humans in your life.

Of course, it won’t all be “The Trans Stuff”. The whole point of this is to remind people that trans people are human too. I’ll also be discussing mental health (which I seem to have a distinct lack of), some Pagan stuff (yes, I’m Pagan, no I do not dance around naked in the moonlight), my uni course and other general life things. I’m human, I have a life. So be prepared to have a couple of rants about things completely unrelated to being trans, but hopefully they’ll provide some entertainment anyway.

Anyways, I hope you stick around for my madness! Enjoy!

An absolute mess of a human just trying to spread some positivity and awareness. Please don’t judge my insanity.
